<description>On the same theme, you might be interested to explore the Malt Whisky Flavour Map which, according to my Royal Statistical Society Significance mag, was created by cluster analysis to group malts into clusters with broadly similar taste characteristics.

If you like your whisky then it&#039;s an interesting way to find your favourites.

The Malt Whisky Flavour Map is posted all over the place but a good example is at:
http://www.malts.com/en-us/learnaboutwhisky/TheFlavourMap.htm

For any UK readers, one of the guys behind this, David Wishart, is actually doing a workshop on it at the forthcoming Royal Statsitical Society Conference in Edinburgh (http://www.whiskyclassified.com/rss2009.html). Data analysis, visualization and whisky tasting - now that can&#039;t be bad!
