@Pau:
That's why it's called vision/concept not a prediction or roadmap. Visions are for inspiration(it got me inspired at least). It's more like saying "hey look how it _could be_ - you like it? so do sth to make it come true"(like talk to your fav services/apps developers that you want open data). Like Sterling said http://grinding.be/2009/03/01/bruce-sterling-on-the-transition-web/ We need directions and this video gives us some. Now it's up to us what we do with that.

I'm think most of criticism to this presentation is because it was made by Microsoft. If it was released by Apple everybody will be praising it.

Last thing: Gibson said "The future is already here - it is just unevenly distributed." All tech needed for things in this video are already here. Maybe except touch reactive e-paper. Only problem is exchanging data and production cost for mass market(like RFID tags).

Have anyone of you read "The Black Swam" from Nassim Nicholas Taleb? There you have the answer, the probability of this being 2019 is close to 0. Look at 1999 predictions of 2009 and think how close is reality to predictions.

Looks suspiciously like hype, sales, and marketing to me. This, from a software company that can't even build a decent browser.

Actually,

I would say their vision in this video is more focused on human-computer interaction.
