A Taxi Cab Exploded in My Driveway
Through the Internet, sharing data has -- you know what, I'm not even going to try to make this relevant. A car exploded in my driveway!!!!
It was 6am and I was laying in bed. There was a continuous honking horn that was annoying the crap out of me. I figured someone was trying to get someone else to move their car so that they could pull out, but after a minute of one long honk, there was a huge BOOOOMMMM!
I ran to my office window, and I saw a car on fire!! I managed to get some of it on camera:
It was quite the sight - and now my apartment smells like smoke. Luckily no one was hurt.

Wow… I’m glad no one was hurt.
i initially thought someone had driven into my garage, because i felt a shake. when i started recording, that boom right when i turn the camera scared me a little.
it turns out it was a cab and the driver saw the engine smoking while driving and pulled into my driveway. that’s when havoc broke loose.
Wow. Moving from LA has made you soft. I hardly notice anymore when cars explode.
Maybe they were filming the next Bourne movie.
Rob – sigh, i know. at least buffalo interrupts my regularly scheduled programming every now and then with a LA speed chase.
